An evening of Mexican food, margaritas and science with our @hutchidscience fellows, @hutchidscience leader Dr Michael Boeckh, and @fredhutch @seattlecca Bone Marrow Transplant Director Dr Mielcarek in Houston at #TCTM19. Looking forward to see their science tomorrow in the evening at the poster session. #transplantid #bonemarrowtransplant #fredhutch #houston #seattle #infectiousdisease #infectiousdiseases #tctm19 #collaboration #science #mentorship
Day 2 at #tctm19 - started with ID special interest group, meet up with Aussie transplant attending Dr Bhattacharyya (husband to the phenomenal Dr Sivagnanam), a CMV session, meet up with Dr Batista who is returning to São Paulo after a year in Houston, talk to the TCT nurses, meet up with former co-fellow, and then evening @fredhutch event at the @grovehouston. The @fredhutch event was a wonderful mix of everyone engaged in the care of our transplant and immunotherapy patients. Collaborators, nurses, educators and fellows - among so many others. And as a late bonus ran into our former @uwmedicine PharmD @zephyrilia. So lucky to work with such wonderful colleagues at home and away. #houston #seattle #fredhutch #collaboration #colleagues #bonemarrowtransplant #infectiousdisease #science #conference
